Corinne Eckley - Occupational
Therapist
Corinne Eckley is an occupational therapist specialized
in working with infants through adolescents as well as
adults. She utilizes a full range of occupational therapy
techniques, including neurodevelop-mental treatment and
sensory integrative treatment, as well as Craniosacral
therapy. In addition, she provides instruction in infant
massage.
“I believe in treating the whole
person. Working with the family is an integral part of
treatment for children, and treatment needs to extend into
the home. Therefore, I provide parents with interventions
that they can use on a daily basis in the course of their
daily routine. All aspects of wellness are considered in
the context of treatment, and I encourage my patients to
work toward a healthy lifestyle.”
Corinne Eckley received her BSOT from East Carolina
University with a minor in psychology. She has worked in a
variety of settings, including The Infant and Toddler
Program, school systems, clinical settings, and home care.
She had a case study published in a recent book on
Craniosacral therapy, Working Wonders, Changing Lives with
Craniosacral Therapy, by John Upledger, DO.
Each person is treated as an individual. Treatment will
vary depending on their specific needs.
